Hi, I'm Sue Hegg!
I am a learning specialist with over 30 years of experience as a classroom teacher, special education teacher, academic therapist, speaker, and consultant. Throughout my career I have worked primarily with students with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, anxiety issues, and prenatal exposure to alcohol/substances.
I am also a veteran homeschool mom of 20+ years. I have three adult children we homeschooled all the way through, each with some type of specialized learning need, including dyslexia, anxiety, and academically giftedness. I also have an amazing adopted guy who has multiple special needs and has moved between homeschool and special education in public school. I understand unique learners from both parents and home educators perspectives.
