Skateboard Park was designed for my students who love to skateboard. They know all the lingo. In this game, players move around a skateboard park. On each turn, players read a word and draw a trick card that gives them points with positive and negative numbers. The player with the highest score wins! 15 pages include the gameboard, skateboard movers, and word cards.

This game works on 2 syllable words with closed and r-controlled syllables. Our games have words that are carefully selected from Orton-Gillingham morphology programs. Our games help students with dyslexia or other reading disabilities to get as much practice decoding and spelling words in patterns based on the structure of the English language.
 
Our games  are great for homeschools, tutoring sessions, and literacy centers. If you use task boxes or workboxes, board games keep students engaged in active learning. Folder games are easy to store and carry in a tote for tutors who travel to their students’ homes. You’ll want to collect all of our file folder games!
